TORONTO – Twelve Akron high school students dropped Nike uniforms to 23 different sports teams from Toronto Public Schools Thursday in LeBron James’ name.

Per James’ tradition, his charitable LeBron James Family Foundation is making its presence felt in the host city for the NBA All-Star Game, which is in Toronto this year.

The Akron students, who are mentors in the James foundation’s education program – they’re called “330 Ambassadors” – unveiled the uniforms during a school assembly and fashion show at Earl Haig Secondary School here. CLEVELAND, Ohio – Even though the Cleveland Cavaliers have capped off the first half of the season with a conference-leading 38-14 record, they recognize they need more help to contend for a championship.

The Cavaliers, among with a handful of other Eastern Conference teams, have strong interest in trading for Sacramento Kings guard Ben McLemore, league sources told cleveland.com.

Cleveland is on the prowl for wing assistance with the Feb. 18 trade deadline fast approaching. McLemore, 23, has been underutilized with head coach George Karl at the helm, but he’s shooting a career-high 37 percent from long distance. – CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – When LeBron James put “I Can’t Breathe” on his chest, Barack Obama had his back.

When Obama called for greater gun control, it was James who bolstered his case, saying there “is no room for guns.”.
