CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Kobe Bryant Farewell Tour made its stop in Cleveland Wednesday night. The 120-111 victory the Cavaliers collected over the Lakers was an afterthought.
Bryant’s final appearance in Northeast Ohio was initially the primary focus, but a scary injury to a member of the Cavaliers stole the intrigue.
With under a minute to go in the second quarter, Kevin Love was hit on the left shoulder during a shot attempt. He walked towards the locker room with his left arm dangling. CLEVELAND, Ohio — Greeted with a standing ovation and chants of “Ko-be, Ko-be, Ko-be” as he stepped onto the court at Quicken Loans Arena for the final time, Kobe Bryant exited in an identical fashion.
With 40.2 seconds remaining and the game out of reach, the Cleveland stop on the Kobe Bryant farewell tour was officially done.
