Daily Fantasy, Nov. 11: Five players to eye on Wednesday

Every day with FanDuel, you’re the GM. Use your NBA knowledge to create the best nine-man team with a salary of $60,000. Once your roster is set, enter a contest, sit back and enjoy the games.

Players To Watch: Nov. 10

DeAndre Jordan, C ($8,000)

After an emoji-filled summer, DeAndre Jordan returns to Dallas to battle the Mavericks in front of what should be an extremely hostile crowd (8 ET, ESPN). Expect the Clippers to highlight Jordan in their offense as he and Blake Griffin ($10,200) should be able to dominate the Mavericks’ front line of Zaza Pachulia ($5,400) and Dirk Nowitzki ($6,500). Jordan collected 34 FanDuel points in only 26 minutes against the Mavericks in the second game of the season and it won’t be a surprise if he hits 40 FanDuel points tonight. The only downside to Jordan is he will likely be a popular pick in tournament play, which makes Greg Monroe ($8,000) against Denver (9 ET, NBA League Pass) and Dwight Howard ($8,100) against Brooklyn (8 ET, NBA League Pass) good alternatives if you want to stray from the mainstream.

Evan Fournier, SG ($5,500)

The fourth-year guard has quickly earned the trust of coach Scott Skiles in Orlando as he averages 19.0 points on 15 attempts, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 37.8 minutes a night. Fournier has hit 40 or more minutes in five of eight games and he should have plenty of opportunities to produce against the lowly Lakers tonight at home (7 ET, NBA League Pass). He’s a great value pick at only $5,500.

John Henson, PF ($4,500)

Jabari Parker will sit out tonight’s game in Denver as the Bucks continue to be cautious with his recovery. This news benefits Henson, who totaled only 19 minutes in his last two games after a giant, 36-point FanDuel night against the Knicks last Friday. Expect Henson to play at least 20 minutes tonight as the Bucks try to keep up with the Nuggets’ up-tempo offense. At $4,500, Henson gives you room to afford a few studs on a busy, 11-game Wednesday.

Cory Joseph, PG ($3,700)

With Terrence Ross sidelined, Joseph has a greater role in the Raptors’ offense now. He delivered last night with 12 points, eight assists, six rebounds and a steal for a season-high 32.2 FanDuel points in a Tuesday loss to the Knicks. Joseph will continue to receive plenty of minutes alongside Kyle Lowry ($8,000) in the backcourt as they (and the Raptors overall) should be fired up tonight against the Sixers (7 ET, NBA League Pass) after how last night’s loss went down. At $3,700, Joseph is an under-the-radar steal at point guard.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, SF ($3,600)

Speaking of under-the-rader, say hello to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. The Nets rookie has carved out a role in coach Lionel Hollins’ starting lineup over the past two games to average 3.5 points on 2.5 shots, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 24.4 minutes for a FanDuel average of 23.3 points. These aren’t eye-popping numbers. But at $3,600, they’re enough for you to give Hollis-Jefferson a look as the Nets take on the high-scoring Rockets tonight (8 ET, NBA League Pass) in a game that could become a blowout.
