Daily Fantasy, Dec. 2: Five players to eye on Wednesday

Every day with FanDuel, you’re the GM. Use your NBA knowledge to create the best nine-man team with a salary of $60,000. Once your roster is set, enter a contest, sit back and enjoy the games.

Players To Watch: Dec. 2

Stephen Curry, PG ($10,900)

Any night is a good night to consider Stephen Curry. But he’s especially interesting tonight as he plays in his hometown of Charlotte (7 ET, NBA League Pass) while his father Dell Curry is honored at halftime after spending 10 seasons with the Hornets. The hometown crowd should give Curry extra motivation to put on a show as he leads the undefeated Warriors. Over his last five games, Curry is averaging 25.8 points on 16.8 attempts, 4.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.4 steals for 44.26 FanDuel points in 31.1 minutes.

Kristaps Porzingis, PF ($7,200)

The Knicks’ rookie sensation continues to produce with averages of 17.0 points on 13.4 shots, 11.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 4.0 blocks for 40.42 FanDuel points in 34.8 minutes over his last five games. His salary isn’t as big of a bargain as it was to begin the season. But with a matchup against the streaking Philadelphia 76ers (7:30 ET, NBA League Pass), Porzingis should have plenty of opportunities to produce against a weak defensive unit. He should also get plenty of block opportunities as the Sixers have their shots blocked at a league-high rate of 7.1 times per game.

Jeremy Lamb, SG ($4,500)

Lamb has been on fire over his last four games with averages of 13.5 points on 10.8 attempts, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists for 25.57 FanDuel points in 27.2 minutes off the bench. He’s a vital source of points for the Hornets and he’s been consistent with 10-plus points in all but three games this season. Lamb and the Hornets face a tough matchup against the undefeated Golden State Warriors tonight (7 ET, NBA League Pass). But Lamb should still be able to find some opportunities to score, even if it comes in garbage time if the game becomes a blowout.

Thabo Sefolosha, SF ($4,200)

The lock-down defender didn’t score or attempt a shot against his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates on Monday night. But it didn’t matter since his other stats allowed him to still have a productive FanDuel night. In a season-high 39 minutes, Sefolosha tallied zero points, eight rebounds, six assists four steals and 25.6 FanDuel points to help the Hawks pull out the victory. He likely won’t have another scoreless outing against the Toronto Raptors tonight (8 ET, NBA League Pass), so he should be able to reach five times the value of his $4,200 salary if he receives 30-plus minutes again. He’s a good, low-cost option if you want to splurge on a few high-priced studs.

Bismack Biyombo, C ($3,900)

Biyombo has been a rebounding machine since Jonas Valanciunas (hand) went down due to injury. In his last four games, Biyombo is averaging 4.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks for 23 FanDuel points in 32.9 minutes. He won’t score points, he won’t get assists and he likely won’t surpass 30-plus FanDuel points. But at $3,900, Biyombo should have no problem reaching five times the value of his salary if he receives 30-plus minutes against the Atlanta Hawks tonight (8 ET, NBA League Pass). He’s a great option if you want to push the center category and afford Curry, Anthony Davis ($10,800), James Harden ($10,800) and/or Paul George ($10,000).
