Curry’s status remains firmly clouded after the reigning MVP sat out the Warriors’ Game 2 win on Monday night. Curry has remained optimistic, for the most part, though he revealed Wednesday night that he’s still bothered by the injury. “Based on how I feel right now, I [probably] couldn’t play in Game 3 Thursday,” Curry said. His participation in shootaround is certainly a positive sign, but with the Warriors remaining mum on Curry’s status, he appears to be trending toward a game-time decision designation. Per coach Steve Kerr, the team’s staff will convene later in the afternoon to make a decision. In the event Curry is again held out, Shaun Livingston would be in line to make another start at point guard.
