Cory Joseph: Hands out four assists in Monday’s win

Joseph has seen between 21 and 24 minutes in all three of the Raptors’ games, which wasn’t atypical playing time for him last season while he worked as the team’s first guard off the bench. The 25-year-old does a good job of keeping the offense clicking when either Kyle Lowry or DeMar DeRozan are resting, but the Raptors don’t typically ask him to assume many play-making responsibilities. He only averaged 8.5 points and 3.1 assists in 25.6 minutes per game a season ago.
