Coach Erik Spoelstra admitted it was uncertain whether or not Johnson (shoulder) would be available for the postseason, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. “I’m not anticipating anything further from that,” Spoelstra said of the guard. “If it gets to the point where we need to make a discussion, we will.”

Johnson underwent left shoulder surgery in early February and has been increasing his on-court activity of late, but noted Sunday that he was still experiencing some lingering soreness. As a result, Johnson said he doesn’t expect to be back before Wednesday’s regular season finale against the Celtics, but if he can put together a string of positive workouts over the next week, a return during the first round of the playoffs may still be a realistic possibility. Upon rejoining the active roster, Johnson will likely see a more limited role with the second unit, as rookie Josh Richardson has shined in Johnson’s absence as the first guard off the bench and should continue to receive ample court time.
