Montrezl Harrell’s 21 points and an impressive team shooting effort spearheaded the Los Angeles Clippers to a 100-93 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Las Vegas Summer League action Monday evening at Cox Pavilion.

Both teams started hot, with a barrage of buckets leading to a 52-48 halftime score. However, while the Clippers (3-0) were able to maintain their offensive momentum in the second half, the Bucks (1-2) were stifled in the fourth quarter, getting outscored by a 29-18 margin over the final 10 minutes. The game featured six ties but just two lead changes, along with impressive 52.6 percent and 44.0 percent success rates from the field for L.A. and Milwaukee, respectively.

Harrell, who averaged 6.9 points and 2.9 rebounds over the last two seasons with the Rockets, added three rebounds, an assist, three blocks and two steals. Sindarius Thornwell, the 2017 SEC Player of the Year, checked in with 18 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jamil Wilson matched Thornwell’s scoring total off the bench on 8-for-10 shooting and added eight boards, eight assists and a block. Jawun Evans — the former Oklahoma Sooner who was acquired via trade at this year’s draft — tallied 11 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Hollis Thompson was productive off the bench, as well, with 10 points and four boards.

Rashad Vaughn paced the Bucks with 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting and added three rebounds, an assist and two steals. First-round pick D.J. Wilson followed with 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Sterling Brown checked in with 14 points, four rebounds, three blocks and a steal. Point guard Travis Trice II poured in 12 points and added three boards, three assists and a steal. Bronson Koenig paced the bench with nine points over 21 minutes.

Both teams now await the final playoff seeding for the Vegas Summer League playoffs, which begin Wednesday.
