Clippers Get Going From Deep In 120-93 Win Vs. Bulls

Score: LAC 120 – CHI 93

LOS ANGELES – A month and a half ago in Chicago, the Clippers hit eight 3-pointers in the fourth quarter yet still produced only 80 points. They didn’t wait that long Sunday afternoon.

The Clippers got going from deep immediately in a rematch between the teams, finishing 17-for-32 from long distance and continuing to tighten up defensively down the stretch in a 120-93 win.

Next Game: 2/3

Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers, J.J. Redick and Wesley Johnson combined to go 14-for-18 from long distance, helping put the Bulls away early in the fourth quarter.

It marked the Clippers’ fourth win in a row and more than made up for their lowest scoring output of the year against the Bulls earlier this season.

But it’s the other side of the floor the Clippers continue to improve, holding their opponent to 93 points or fewer for the third straight game and the fourth time in the last five games.

That effort was led once again by DeAndre Jordan, who finished with 17 points, 20 rebounds, four blocks and four assists. He was active from the jump, already tallying 12 rebounds after just the first quarter.

J.J. Redick finished with 21 points, going 4-for-4 from long range, while Crawford led all scorers with 26 points.

The Clippers shot 53.6 percent from the floor and 53.1 percent from 3-point range, while holding the Bulls to 5-for-15 shooting from long distance.
