The Clippers (39-20) made sure they didn’t put a damper on the night, trailing by six points later in the third quarter before closing on an 8-0 run to take the lead and watching lob after lob get finished with a dunk from DeAndre Jordan to close out the Nets (17-43) and seal a 105-95 win.

Jamal Crawford had 26 points off the bench, while Chris Paul had 23 points and 12 assists. J.J. Redick added 19 points and was 3-for-5 from 3-point range.

After allowing 33 points in the third quarter, the Clippers held the Nets to 16 points in the fourth. Paul said it was the defense that changed the game for the Clippers, who never trailed after going on their run late in the third.

Jordan finished with at least 10 rebounds for the 16th straight game, and Jordan, who had four points entering the fourth quarter, finished with his 35th double-double of the season after a flurry of dunks to finish off the Nets.
