Despite Parsons’ full participation in practice, the Grizzlies’ coaching staff has yet to clear him for game action and could take a cautious approach to start the 2016-17 campaign, which would likely keep him out a game or two to start the year. With that said, even if Parsons is available to take the floor, he’d likely see his minutes heavily restricted early on in an attempt to get his conditioning in order and to limit the strain placed upon his knee that has now underwent two separate surgeries over the past two years. Parsons should have his status updated again in the next couple of days, but for now, consider him highly questionable for Wednesday.
