Cleveland is 8-1 at The Q this season where they are averaging 116.2 points per game. They have scored at least 100 points in all nine home games, which include four contests with over 120 points.

Cleveland is 2-0 against the Western Conference this season and over the last 47 regular season games versus the West, the Cavs are 38-9 against them, including 22-3 at home.

The Wine and Gold will aim to keep their dominance over the West going as they welcome a struggling Dallas squad into town.

Dallas (2-12) has lost seven straight games for the first time since 1999 — Dirk Nowitzki's rookie season.

The Mavericks, have been battling through some tough injuries and are in the midst of a brutal stretch in the schedule.

Nowitzki is back after missing eight games with an Achilles injury, but he has played in four of Dallas' first 16 games. Deron Williams has missed the last four games with a calf injury that has limited him to just 10 minutes over the last eight games.

The Cavaliers tallied a 2-0 season series mark in 2015-16 against the Mavericks.

The last time the two teams squared off at The Q this past March, Dallas had a chance to tie the game but a Kyrie Irving steal with 2.9 seconds remaining sealed the 99-98 victory. In the victory, the Cavs drilled 10 three-pointers and shot 11-13 (.846) from the free throw line. The Wine and Gold also held the edge in rebounds, 48-32, and outscored the Mavericks in second chance points, 22-4.

Friday's matchup will be the first of two regular season meetings between the two teams in 2016-17 (1/30 at Dallas).
