#CavsBlazers Game Preview – November 23, 2016

After a 104-81 win over Detroit last Friday, the Cavaliers continue their three-game homestand when they face off against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night at Quicken Loans Arena. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. (ET).

The Wine and Gold have the best record in the Eastern Conference at 10-2.

Cleveland is 7-1 at The Q this season where they are averaging 113.6 points per game. They have scored at least 100 points in all eight home games, which include three contests with over 120 points.

Cleveland is 1-0 against the Western Conference this season (128-120 win over Houston on November 1). Over the last 46 regular season games versus the West, the Cavs are 37-9 against them, including 21-3 at home.

The Wine and Gold will aim to keep their dominance over the West going as they welcome a Portland squad into town on the second half of a back-to-back after their game in the Big Apple against the Knicks on Tuesday.

The Trail Blazers are led by their dynamic backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. The tandem enters play this week as the highest scoring backcourt in the NBA at nearly 51 points per game combined.

Kevin Love has notched a double-double in 12 of his last 15 games against Portland, averaging 22.8 points, 12.1 rebounds and a .435 (30-69) clip from deep over that span.

Wednesday's matchup will be the first of two regular season meetings between the two teams in 2016-17 (1/11 at Portland).

After Tuesday's contest, it's another Western Conference matchup as the Dallas Mavericks make their lone appearance in Cleveland this year on Friday night.
