Prior to Wednesday's game against Sacramento, Cavaliers leadership met with members of Positive Coaching Alliance – Cleveland for “Conversation with the Cavs.” Cavs GM David Griffin, Senior VP of Basketball Operations, Trent Redden, and Assistant GM, Kobe Altman, took part in a panel discussion that was emceed by Cavs Spanish radio announcer Rafa Hernandez-Brito. The event was part of the Cavs continued support of youth basketball in the community.
More than 120 youth and high school basketball coaches from across Northeast Ohio gathered at Bridges Restaurant at The Q to hear from the Cavs front office members, who spoke about what has gone into building the team's championship culture. The panel covered other topics such as player development, teaching techniques and much more. After the moderated discussion, Griffin, Redden and Altman fielded questions from the coaches in the audience.
Following the informative and inspirational gathering, the local coaches attended the game against the Kings.
