Cleveland has won nine of the last 13 contests against Washington, including six of the last seven at the Verizon Center.

Against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, the Cavaliers shot 12-24 (.500) from the three-point line, which was their 31st game connecting on 10 or shots from deep this season. In 2015-16, Cleveland is averaging 10.1 three-pointers per game (5th in NBA), which is tied with last season for their highest average in franchise history.

The Wine and Gold will look to keep their sharp-shooting from downtown against a Wizards squad fighting to get back into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

Washington (27-30) has gone 4-2 since the All-Star break and currently sits three games behind the Chicago Bulls for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Conference.

Despite the Wizards struggles this season, All-Star point guard, John Wall, has put up solid numbers in the 2015-16 campaign, averaging 19.9 points to go along with a team-high 9.8 assists.

This is the third of four regular season matchups between the two teams. They will wrap up their four-game set on Friday night at The Q.

The last time the Cavs visited the Verizon Center was on January 6 when Cleveland defeated the Wizards, 121-115.

Offensively, the Cavs shot 48-89 (.539) from the field, including 12-29 (.414) from the three-point line. Cleveland outrebounded the Wizards 44-33, while also holding the edge in points in the paint (52-42) and second chance points (20-7).

LeBron James (34 pts, 12-22 FG, 10 rebs), Kyrie Irving (32 pts, 14-22 FG, 5 rebs) and J.R. Smith (25 pts, 10-16 FG, 5-10 3FG, 3 stls) became the first trio in franchise history to score at least 25 points and make more than half of their field goal attempts in a road game. (Elias Sports Bureau)

After Sunday’s game, the Cavaliers wrap up their back-to-back – and the month of February – on Monday night when they welcome the Pacers to The Q for the final time this season. Following the two-game set, the Cavaliers get a rare-but-welcomed three-day break before a weekend back-to-back in Cleveland – closing out the season series with the Wizards on Friday and trying for a measure of revenge against the Celtics – who stunned the Cavs at the buzzer back on February 5 – next Saturday night.GET TICKETS | VIEW FULL SCHEDULE
