Carl Landry: Out until January with torn wrist ligament

The Sixers originally ruled out Landry until November after he remained unavailable for training camp following offseason surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist. However, it appears complications in his recovery have pushed his timetable further back. Landry was acquired in July to give the team a veteran frontcourt scorer off the bench, but his extended absence will force the Sixers to lean more heavily on unproven youngsters Richaun Holmes and Christian Wood in reserve roles.
