Burke failed to capitalize on Utah’s lack of point guard depth during the 2015-16 season and consequentially fell out of coach Quin Snyder’s rotation, resulting in eight consecutive DNP-CD to finish out his third year in the league.

Burke failed to start in any games for the Jazz this season after starting in 68 and 43 during his first two seasons in Utah. This is quite alarming when considering that Dante Exum (knee) never stepped foot on the court, Alec Burks (knee) only mustered 31 appearances, and Snyder preferred rookie Raul Neto 53 times over Burke as a starter. Fortunately Burke still has one more guaranteed year left on his contract, but he seems destined for a stagnate season on the bench barring something unforeseen during the offseason.
