October 30, 2015 – Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, and Pau Gasol joined their teammates and Bulls staff to create a special day for Parker Stevens, a 13-year old who was granted a one-day Bulls contract through Make-A-Wish.
Parker was officially signed at a press conference where he was welcomed to the team by the Front Office and coaching staff.
“We put a real premium on make-up and character, and Parker has great make up and character and has got a game to go with it,” said GM Gar Forman.
Head Coach Fred Hoiberg added, “[Parker] had a great opportunity out there going up against Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol. He was fighting with them with his heart and that’s what we want.”
