The Bucks had control from the tip, jumping to a 30-20 lead after the first quarter, the Knicks brought it back to a tie but could not get over the hump.

The Knicks struggled shooting the ball, especially from long range and when that is the case for this team they will likely not see many wins. New York shot 4-24 from long range, which was a big factor in the loss. Knicks star player Carmelo Anthony struggled along with his teammates, shooting 6-16 totaling 17 points, he had six assists and four rebounds as well.  Kristaps Porzingis was a bright spot for the Knicks and despite the loss, gave them something to be happy about with his 14 points and 13 rebounds. Derrick Williams brought energy off the bench just as he has been doing since the end of last season and dropped 15 points in 20 minutes off the bench. Langston Galloway also had a good game off the bench, scoring 13 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

Milwaukee played a solid game and was led by an unlikely suspect in John Henson. With a big 22 point, five rebound and three block game in only 23 minutes off the bench, Henson led the way for the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo came up big as well with 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one block. No one else really stood out for the Bucks but Greivis Vasquez contributed well off the bench with eight points, five assists, four rebounds and one steal. Tyler Ennis started in place of Michael Carter-Williams, who sat out with a minor sprain, which he suffered in their match versus the Nets on last Monday night.

Next up for the Bucks is another game against Brooklyn coming up on Saturday night, while the Knicks have a day off before they host the struggling Lakers on Sunday.
