Bryn Forbes: Makes 15-man roster

As was the case during his college career at Michigan State, Forbes made his living exclusively from downtown during the preseason, averaging 9.5 points per game while connecting on 58.3 percent of his three-point attempts. With Danny Green (quad) likely out for the first three weeks of the season, Forbes will give the Spurs some insurance at shooting guard, but he’s not expected to see much run at the position behind Kyle Anderson, Jonathon Simmons and Manu Ginobili.
