Weber has seen action in just one game for the Hornets since joining the team on
his first 10-day contract at the end of February, posing two points over two
minutes during that contest. Despite being relegated to the bench for the
majority of his stay, coach Steven Clifford likes what he’s gotten from Weber
and will give him one more 10-day deal before deciding whether or not to sign
him for the rest of the season. The Hornets continue to be without Ramon
Sessions (knee) at point guard, so Weber should slot in as the team’s third
string point guard behind Kemba Walker and Brian Roberts for the time being.
