Rush was only receiving the start with Andrew Wiggins (illness) being held out, but it’s fully expected that Wiggins will be ready to go for Tuesday’s season opener against the Grizzlies. Even so, Rush demonstrated Friday just how dangerous he is from downtown, and that skill figures to earn him a consistent role off the bench when the season begins.
