Brandon Knight: Scores 18 points in spot start

Knight shot the ball well from the field, three-point range and the free-throw line, but the lack of statistical contributions in any other category amounted to a disappointing outing for the 24-year-old, who entered the starting five while Devin Booker (toe) sat out. Booker’s injury isn’t considered overly serious, so in the event he’s able to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, Knight would transition back to his role off the bench as the Suns’ sixth man.
