Brandon Ingram: Expects to play some point guard

Ingram was used as a ball-handler multiple times throughout the preseason and considering he performed admirably in that role, he’s expected to continue to see reps at point guard well into the regular season. Coach Luke Walton indicated it also allows the team to get Nick Young into the game, while keeping Ingram on the floor at the same time, so this could become a common occurrence throughout the 2016-17 campaign. Ingram is slated to come off the bench, but the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft should get a ton of minutes as the Lakers try to unlock his potential sooner rather than later.
