This was an ugly game for Beal, but if there’s anything positive to take away, it’s that he was able to log a huge minutes load. There was talk last season that Beal, who had dealt with extensive right leg problems through his first four seasons in the league, could face a nightly minutes cap for the remainder of his career, but based on Sunday’s outing, it appears that’s no longer the case. Beal had a strong preseason and stated that he’s feeling healthier than he has at any point in his career, so he seemingly makes for a decent buy-low target after making only a limited impact in his first two games of the season.
