Bradley Beal: Scores team-high 19 points in preseason finale

It’s rare to see Beal take on such a high-volume role as a distributor, but his assist total was undeniably enhanced by an uncharacteristically hot night from the field from almost everybody on the roster, as the Wizards shot a blistering 57.6% percent from the field and 48.3 percent from three-point range. John Wall will assume most of the play-making responsibilities when the regular season begins, but a healthy Beal nonetheless looks primed to take on a larger role after an impressive preseason. He averaged 15.3 points in 24.3 minutes per game while hitting 46 percent of his shots from the floor.
