The Jazz are yet to provide a reason for the decision, but it’s likely the 34-year-old is simply being rested on the front end of a back-to-back set. Diaw has struggled through the first three games of the season, going just 1-of-11 from the floor with a combined seven rebounds, two assists and six fouls. Expect to see more of Trey Lyles on Monday in Diaw’s absence.
