Bogdanovic was held out of Thursday’s exhibiton opener for rest purposes, but was able to get on the court Saturday for his preseason debut, though he was only used in a limited capacity. Interestingly enough, Randy Foye made a second consecutive start at shooting guard, but that role is expected to fall to Bogdanovic once the Nets decide to clear him for a full workload. After averaging 15.1 points per game following the All-Star break last season, Bogdanovic is poised to see more offensive duties in his third NBA campaign, likely ranking as the team’s third option after Brook Lopez and Jeremy Lin.
