Though Wayne Ellington opened the season as the Nets’ starting shooting guard, Bogdanovic seems to have leapfrogged him on the depth chart, as Ellington played only seven minutes Monday. While Markel Brown is the Nets’ new starting shooting guard, Bogdanovic has seen more playing time of the two in each of the last two games, and thus remains the more interesting fantasy commodity. Bogdanovic struggled with his shot throughout the preseason and has only connected on two of his 11 three-pointers thus far, but he’s done well to find other ways to give the Nets an infusion of scoring off the bench. Even if coach Lionel Hollins remains reluctant to use Bogdanovic in a starting role, the 26-year-old should continue to see stable minutes.
