Blake Griffin: Falls assist short of triple-double Monday

With the Clippers building a 30-point halftime lead, Griffin wasn’t asked to play significant minutes, but the team’s hot shooting still put him within shouting distance of a triple-double. Griffin’s skills as a passer separate him from many of the league’s top power forwards, and fantasy owners can probably expect him to build on the 3.9 assists he’s already provided through seven games. Griffin averaged 4.9 dimes in 35 games a season ago, and a career-high 5.3 during the 2014-15 campaign.
