Biyombo scored seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 FT) while adding 26 rebounds, a franchise postseason record, and four blocks in 39 minutes during Saturday’s Game 3 win over the Cavaliers.

His 16 first-half boards also set a new franchise playoff record. Biyombo’s defensive presence and energy helped change the momentum of the series and will likely draw a response from Cleveland beyond the low blow that Dahntay Jones snuck in during the final minute of Saturday’s game. Unless Jonas Valanciunas is able to return to action from his ankle injury, however, Biyombo stands a good chance of recording his eight double-digit rebounding game of this postseason in Game 4 on Monday.
