Ben Simmons Reportedly Set For MRI After Injuring Back vs. Bucks

Sixers All-Star guard Ben Simmons left Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after irritating his lower back and did not return.

Simmons played only four minutes before heading to the locker room, recording five points and two rebounds.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Simmons was apparently ’emotional’ following an X-ray, and is set for an MRI on Sunday, with “some level of concern” among the 76ers organization as to the severity of the injury.

Simmons is averaging 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.2 steals in 36.3 minutes across 53 games.
