Ben McLemore: Turns in 10-point effort in reserve role Thursday

The four-year pro and occasional starter is behind offseason acquistion Arron Afflalo and figures to open the season in that role. McLemore also has talented veteran Garrett Temple behind him on the two-guard depth chart, and considering the considerable upgrade on defense the latter offers, McLemore could see his minutes affected over the course of the season as a result. The 23-year-old has averaged 8.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 19.5 minutes in the first two exhibitions.
