Barea (groin) is expected to play according to head coach Rick Carlisle, Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman reports.

Barea missed Game 2’s win over the Thunder due to a strained right groin, and was originally ruled doubtful by the team for Game 3. However, it know appears that the point guard could take the court on Thursday night, as Barea has personally expressed his intent to play. Fellow point guard Deron Williams is also on the injury report and seems to be doubtful, which means Barea will split the point guard duties with veterans Raymond Felton and Devin Harris. There has been no word on if Barea will come off the bench or see any minute restrictions if he does, indeed, play, but more information should come right before tip.
