Barea (groin) has been upgraded to questionable in advance of Thursday’s Game 3 against the Thunder, Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Barea was limited in practice Wednesday as he continues to nurse the strained right groin that kept him out of action in the Mavs’ Game 2 win on Monday. An MRI revealed a small tear in the groin, but nonetheless Barea has expressed optimism that he’ll be able to play through the discomfort. The decision may ultimately come down to a matter of pain tolerance, so expect Barea to end up as a game-time call, as he’ll likely want to see how the groin reacts during pregame warmups. If Barea is held out, both Raymond Felton and Devin Harris would be set for expanded roles, especially considering Deron Williams (abdomen) is also considered questionable.
