Aron Baynes: Not practicing Friday

Baynes is still recovering from a broken nose he suffered from on Tuesday, but the fact that he expects to be back by Sunday and practicing Tuesday is surely encouraging. He should be considered day-to-day at this point, but the expectation is that he’ll be ready for Detroit’s regular season opener against the Raptors on Wednesday, where he will be in line to backup starting center Andre Drummond.
