Davis saw the fewest minutes of any of the Pelicans’ starters, but that didn’t prevent him from posting his best stat line of the preseason. With the balky left knee and torn labrum in his left shoulder that plagued him last season now firmly in the rear-view mirror, Davis has looked pretty strong on a per-minute basis through three contests. He’s averaged 16.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steal in 17.6 minutes per game.
