Anthony Davis Leaves Monday’s Win With Injury

NEW YORK – After being on the receiving end from a hard foul by New York’s Kyle O’Quinn that got O’Quinn ejected for a flagrant foul-penalty 2, Anthony Davis shot his subsequent pair of free throws, but then headed to the New Orleans locker room.

Davis went crashing into the first row of the baseline stands after he was contacted from behind on a layup attempt. He finished with 40 points and 18 rebounds in under 29 minutes, marking his fifth-straight game of over 20 points and 15 rebounds, the fourth player ever to do that.
