For the second straight Tuesday, the Pelicans will try to win a game in which Anthony Davis sustained a game-ending injury in the first half. Davis will sit out the remainder of Tuesday’s game vs. Denver with a left shoulder injury. Davis missed the second half of the Nov. 17 home game against Dallas, but the Pelicans prevailed 120-105.
Alvin Gentry said Anthony Davis’ status for Wednesday’s national TV game at OKC is uncertain.
