With less than a minute remaining in the first half of Monday’s game between New Orleans and Houston, Pelicans two-time All-Star forward Anthony Davis was taken to the locker room after a collision with Tyreke Evans. Davis was accidentally elbowed in the left side of his head by Evans, as both players leaped to try to collect a defensive rebound. The Pelicans announced near the end of the halftime break that Davis is doubtful to return (head injury).
