Andrew Wiggins: Scores 25 points, grabs seven boards in loss

The scoring total and frequent trips to the free-throw line were old hat for Wiggins, but the rebounding production was a more promising development after the 21-year-old averaged just 3.6 rebounds per game last season. Wiggins’ lack of a well-rounded statistical portfolio has prevented him from taking a major leap in the fantasy realm, but if any one can coax more production out of the forward in the defensive categories, it’s new Wolves coach and noted defensive guru Tom Thibodeau. We’ll have to take a wait-and-see approach over the next few games before buying into Wiggins as a plus-rebounder at the small forward spot.
