This was easily Aldridge’s best game thus far as a member of the Spurs, and the first time he has actually looked like the team’s number one offensive option ahead of Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs are known to spread the ball around and rest their veterans, and it’s highly unlikely that Aldridge is able to produce the same numbers he did with the Blazers. However, it’s certainly possible that the Spurs’ system and surrounding talent will help Aldridge muster up his most efficient season to date. The Spurs are back in action on Monday versus the Knicks.
