Al Horford: Scores season-high 27 points in Sunday’s loss

Horford was aggressive on offense with Isaiah Thomas (knee) sidelined for a
second straight contest, and the big man finished with a season high in scoring.
Prior to the last two games, Horford hadn’t attempted 16 shots or more in a game
since Jan. 7, this after taking at least that many in nine of his first 27
showings with the Celtics. Coach Brad Stevens already stated that he was hopeful
Thomas would play Monday versus the Wizards, so Horford’s time as the team’s
go-to option may be coming to a close.
