Horford is still yet to progress to the next phase of the league’s concussion protocol, so he’ll remain in Boston as the team travels to Washington. It will be the third consecutive absence for the big man, and Tyler Zeller is expected to make another start in his place. Horford’s next opportunity to take the court will come Friday when the Celtics return home to host the Knicks.
