Aminu banged the boards effectively at his new position at the four Friday, turning in a more productive effort than he had in the opener against the Jazz on Monday in two additional minutes on the court. The 26-year-old played some stellar defense at the three in his first season in a Blazers uniform in 2015-16 and began to take a more active offensive role as the campaign unfolded. With enough size to handle the battle down low, Aminu could make for an effective option at his new position as well, particularly with his ability to stretch the floor thanks to a serviceable three-point shot.
