Few players in this year’s draft boast the type of two-way resume that Kris Dunn compiled in his three seasons at Providence. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound point guard used his size — and complementary speed — to his advantage en route to being named Big East Player of the Year. A two-time conference Defensive Player of the Year, he twice led the Big East in steals and has shown the ability to defend both guard positions, plus the occasional small forward. Crafty on the other end, he ranked third in the NCAA in assists during the 2014-15 season with 7.5 per game. That average dipped a bit to 6.2 this past year, but his scoring rose from 15.6 points per game to 16.4.

From the Expert Kris Dunn was a star at Providence. He’ll be an All-Star in the NBA because of how defenders can’t rely on the hand check. Book it. #pcbb— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) May 18, 2016
