A true seven-footer, Jakob Poeltl was huge in multiple ways for Arizona this season. Using his massive frame, the 239-pound Austrian bullied defenders down low to rank second in the Pac-12 in scoring (17.2) and fourth in rebounding (9.1), while being named the conference’s Player of the Year. He also earned the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award for the nation’s best center, which, no doubt, had something to do with his 64.6 field goal percentage that led all players from major conferences.
