2016 NBA Draft Profile: Cheick Diallo

A five-star recruit out of high school, Cheick Diallo has always shown a wealth of potential, in spite of playing only 7.5 minutes per game in his lone season at Kansas. Though his college career was brief, Diallo has displayed his skills on bright stages, as he was named MVP of both the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic in 2015, while also putting on an 18-point performance at this year’s NBA Combine. With superior shot-blocking potential, defense might just be his calling card, as he led all NCAA freshmen in defensive rating this season (85.5).
